ABOUT CRISTINA
Cristina Garcia is an educator, activist, mentor and consultant. She helps BIWOC & femmes heal from internalized oppression, racial trauma and identity loss so they can reclaim their voice and affirm their power on their own terms. She educates on issues of social justice raising awareness on how power and privilege cause injustice and inequity impacting our everyday lives. Cristina creates and facilitates workshops and discussions using an anti-oppressive, healing justice approach grounded in community and social justice. Through these workshops she helps transform and challenge oppressive systems while uplifting and centering the voices and lived experiences of Black Indigenous and Women and Femmes of Color. Cristina brings her own ancestral wisdom, training in macro social work and 15+ years of community organizing to this work.
Cristina is a mentor to Black Indigenous and Women & Femmes of Color. She helps leaders in their own identity journey, supporting them in cultivating their inner resilience & ancestral wisdom as they heal from conditioning and oppression. Her vision is for all of us to reach emotional and spiritual freedom in our journeys towards individual and collective liberation.
Cristina provides consulting for businesses and organizations looking to create social change within their organizational structures and systems. She advises on issues of organizational leadership, helping to create anti-oppressive environments that value difference and support employees of color, helping shift internal culture to a more equitable, anti-oppressive and feminist orientation.
