Intuitive People Are Also Process Oriented

Intuitive people are also process oriented, we simply do not see ourselves that way. Why do I say this?

Because it is something that I have been reflecting on more and more lately, and it is something that I want to delve deeper into. In fact, I want to walk you a bit through my own process and how I realized this. It is also the very beginning of the ideation process for my next program.

I have always prided myself on being a free spirit, being intuitive and heart led. However I have not always fully paid notice to my internal process or the way that I do things and why. I have been interrogating the how and why lately. And the truth is that I think that I’ve taken the process for granted. I think I enjoy the creation and ideation phase so much that I have disregarded the actual process behind how I get my ideas 💡 to become actual tangible programs and projects.

Number one ☝🏽, it is important for me to ask myself the question: “why have I not valued the process as much?” And “why have I even discarded it?” When in fact, it is the “process”, precisely that people want to learn about. That folks should actually be hearing about. So this is making me realize that I have the potential to speak a lot more about my process. I have the ability to slow down enough so that I can actually tangibly see my process, capture it and then share it with all of you.

And once again why do I share all of this with you? Because I have started to think deeply about the next phase of my business and I’ve started to ponder, idéate and imagine the next program that I would like to create. I already know that I want this next program to be equal parts creativity, flow and intuition + process oriented and tangible execution oriented.

Additionally, it absolutely needs to be

✨ Liberatory in nature,

✨A real life practice in actively decolonizing and

✨Trauma informed.

So how do I fit in all of these elements into my program? That is something that is an integral part of my thinking and ideation process because these are things that I am not willing to sacrifice for the sake of making it a trendy program or a popular program. It feels like a tall ask at first but I believe these are the gifts that I have been called to share and spread and to invite others into this type of work, imagination and creation.

So I wanted to share all of this with you because I think if you are anything like me you may have to interrogate that part of you that hasn’t always been the strongest or that you haven’t prided yourself in or embraced, because this is truly an active practice in identifying which are areas of our skill set, our gifts, and our medicine that we haven’t made space for? That we have applied a certain narrative to?

I will leave it here and I will also share that I have recorded all of this onto a Google doc from my phone as I sit here in my car. So you are getting a true, in real time, look 👀 inside a part of my process and how I take my ideas and downloads seriously.
